About Cameron

Cameron Turner is originally from California. He grew up performing at Woodland Opera House, and later performed in his High School’s Musical Productions and participated in Band playing clarinet and saxophone.

After Graduating High School, Cameron attended UC Davis where he continued to study theatre and found his passion for working behind the scenes. He decided to focus on becoming a stage manager after meeting his professor (turned mentor) Robin Gray and having the opportunity to work with her on the UC Davis production of Time is Passing By. While in school he landed a Summer Internship at Broadway Sacramento Music Circus as a Stage Manager, helping to work on the productions of Big River, Peter Pan, and Hair.

Cameron graduated with a double major in Theatre and Design, with a minor in Communications. After his time at UC Davis, Cameron went on to have an Internship at Sacramento Theatre Company, and later went on to become their Resident Stage Manager for their 2021 through 2023 seasons. He has gone on to work with other theatre companies such as 5-Star Theatricals in Thousand Oaks, CA.

When he is not behind the table, or backstage on a headset, Cameron can be found reading Stephen King Novels, trying new recipes in the kitchen, or enjoying quality time with family and friends.
